Mars stations direct on June 29, 2016 after being retrograde since April 17th!  These past few months have challenged us to slow down, embrace introspection in key areas, and hold off on any major decisions.  Here’s a bit more about retrogrades, the influence of Mars (the ruling planet of Aries) and the benefits of this phase.

Mars goes into a retrograde phase every two years.  What exactly is a retrograde phase and how does it impact you?  Retrogrades occur when a planet appears to slow down and retrace its steps in the cosmos for a period of time.  When this happens you are given a unique opportunity to reconsider, reevaluate and re-do things that are associated with the planet in retrograde.  The universe finds ways to slow down your life in these key areas to provide you with time to explore, explore opportunities to make positive changes and ultimately move forward with more clarity when the time is right.

This week’s message for the universe has to do with Power.  It is time to find that personal power within you and then unleash it allowing the world to see what you're truly made of. Since mid-April many of the planets have been in a retrograde phase, thus putting a hold on forward movement and major decisions.  Many of you have intuitively held off on making any major decisions during this time in the areas of love, work, life purpose, health & fitness programs, where you live and so forth. The Full Moon occurs on June 20, 2016 at 4:02am (PST) in the astrological sign of Sagittarius.  This is also considered a Blue Moon of sorts as this is the second consecutive month of a Full Moon in the same sign of Sagittarius (last one occurred in May, 2016).  It is also noteworthy that May’s Full Moon in Sagittarius occurred at the first degree and today’s Full Moon is occurring at the last degree, which means these energies are here to be experienced within their full expression.

The topic of head vs. heart living has been a big theme in my life experience.  In a nutshell, for a long time, I was living in my head.  I am a sensitive soul and I experience much depth in my world and experiences and have always felt very deeply.  On the surface, this sounds like heart living, no questions asked.  The truth is that a big source of my comfort came from having a safe, stable, high paying job, owning property, having a healthy savings account and so forth.  On some level I believed that I would be “okay” since I had....

The Full Moon in Libra and the Prenumbral Lunar Eclipse were exact at @ 5:03am (PST) on March 23. Venus rules relationships, so look for this as one theme to emerge during this time, starting with your most important relationship, the one with SELF.    Libra is the sign of the scales and during this time you can take a look at both sides of the scales, the dark/light, fear/love and so forth and allow yourself to hold space for it all.
